Service was fast and friendly, food was very good!! Was not sure what to get, but waitress helped us narrow down what we wanted as well as our options. Ingredients of the food was fresh and cooked to order. Great for dine in and carry out. Can tell this is a family owned restaurant they are always take care of you.
I'm shocked at the 3 star review here. I hope since 2020 people realize things aren't the same in a lot of places, but this place, this family owned spot for around 25 years is THE BEST CHINESE IN COLORADO SPRINGS and maybe the state. I always order Wor wonton soup and it is amazing. Egg rolls are crispy and never greasy. The same 8 folks have worked here for as long as I've been coming(since 2007) It's great for business lunches and carry out. I've NEVER been let down here. I've not eaten their other meat options but generally whoever I'm dining with does and I've created some diehard fans of this place. Rice dishes and noodles are great too from my experience and the veggies never seem less than fresh! Five Stars are too few 3 stars is not fair at all!
I have to say I have not tasted Charmaine is good since I was a little girl in California. The flavor was amazing the fresh vegetable use and the crunchy noodles. It's a must try. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Service was fast and friendly .
I 100% don't care what the ratings are for this restaurant, it's a 5 out of 5 for me and will always be. Am I bias? Maybe. I've been coming here as a child and the nostalgia is there, but it only adds to the magic. You get a warm towel to clean your hands when you're sat. The attention to detail is impeccable, and friendly on top of that. The food, the shining star. I, personally haven't ever had a bad meal. My little ones LOVE the popo platter, not authentic but a blast. All the soups are fantastic. Matter in fact, the soups here are my go to when I'm feeling a bit under the weather. My husband loves the sesame chicken and all of the egg foo young. Does the restaurant have its ups and downs? Maybe. But! How many of us don't. They care here and that always shines through.
